Here's an extract of the recording we made for Barbara, currently showing at the astounding Wapping Project Space. We launched Barbara's installation at Wapping with a live performance and our piece is part of the ongoing project.
Soon to develop into double vinyl and 16mm film, Emer O'Brien's project currently takes live performance and mashed sounds to cosy audiences for whom Barabara interprets each musician in each of her organ channels. The audio passes through the tube, exiting as both tone-and-timbre sensitive flame and as a tinny, almost haunting version of itself.
