Delving even deeper into early Iranian music recordings, all the way up to the present day for tonight's event. Aside from mainstream copy-cat stuff, modern Iranian musicians are really pulling in some great influences and finding their own voices. Music is Iran is a huge issue, before being mainly banned in '79, musicians were once looked down upon, it was only thanks to the Golha Radio Programme, 1956- 79, that music and poetry became respectable in the public eye.
