The Resonance104.4 FM AUCTION


We were on air for almost 48 hours, flogging a huge amount of collectible art, books and sundries.  Left: Christian Marclay slipmats designed & signed!

Thanks to all the listeners and contributors we raised just under £10,000 in two days!

Fund Raiser: experiences

e1. A pass allowing one person entry to all concerts at The Vortex for one year
e2. A week in a beautiful holiday home in Ireland. The House – An Run is its gaelic name (meaning ‘the secret’) – is situated directly behind the soaring Cliffs of Moher, down the coast from the Burren National Park. It is surrounded by wild bog, and the occasional mossy cottage. Nearby is Egan’s pub, Vaughan’s seafood restaurant and Egan’s wine and bookshop, well stocked with first editions and a connoisseurs choice of wines from around the world

e5. Two tickets and the chance to destroy many major domestic appliances and Cecil Sharp’s piano (donated by the English Folk and Dance Society) at cult event Scrap Club on Friday 21st May
e6. Two tickets to the SOLD OUT Four Tet concert at Village Underground on May 30th at 8pm
e7. A guitar lesson from Gary Lammin (Bermondsey Joyriders, ex Joe Strummer)
e8. A bespoke recording by Judy Nylon of any text (of up to three minutes) provided by the bidder, read by Judy, with a Creative Commons license. Three such recordings are up for grabs
e9. A bespoke audio work by Shaun Ryder with a lovely t-shirt he forgot to sign thrown in
