Next Dj Gig - Feminist Times

This is the night of the performance I've put on at Southbank Centre for the Iran-UK Sonics residency

For that, we expect 100s to pass through Queen Elizabeth Hall and with 12 performers on stage, and visuals going it's not a small do. But still who would resist. Look at the line up! And last time I was at Conway Hall is was the biggest ResonanceFM sprawl you've ever seen, and we'd to stay behind to clear up masses of cans and left objects (thanks for the bike light, whoever left that behind and never claimed). I need to reprogram the memory. So -

The Feminist Times Christmas Service, Friday 13th December at Conway Hall, Holborn

A night of secular, anti-capitalist, festive fun.

There'll be a cheap bar, as there ever is in this impressive high ceilinged, wood-lined hall the perfect spot for an alternative Christmas carol sing-along - I hope sheets are provided.  Plus you can meet possibly the world's first Feminist Santa, raffle prizes and witness some really top guest speakers explain their anti-capitalist and feminist manifestos - all this followed by DJs and dancing till late.

Djing with me will be:

Ruth Barnes (OtherWoman, Amazing Radio, BBC)
Annette Barlow (The Girls Are - TGA magazine)

Xmas 'Sermons' are from:

Carly Smallman
"The most exciting female act in the country right now" GQ Magazine

Sarah Campbell
"One of the stand-out stand-ups of the future" British Comedy Guide

Raga Woods
A legendary spiritual bohemian, Raga works to restore elders to an elevated position in society and is founder of Gingerbread which supports single parent families. Go Raga!
