Sound Performance at V22 Gallery

Here's my collaboration with artist Terry Smith June 22nd at the V22 space, Bermondsey one night only.

COMBINE - a new site specific work for video, sound and dance by the artist Terry Smith, constructed as a live painting; a detail in one location changes the piece elsewhere in this enormous space.
"'The site and the physical situation are the most important conditions from which I construct a work. It's a discovery and an experiment. Often I name a work in advance, to introduce myself to some concerns or issues that I might play with."

Smith, who was trained at Goldsmiths at the end of the 1970s, has always been influenced by a number of minimal and conceptual artists. Combine, inspired by the work of Robert Rauschenberg, and Merce Cunningham.

Combine is  involves renowned British Composer Ian Dearden; with the Italian Choreographer Paola Piccato; and with Sound Artist Fari Bradley. We are also pleased to announce the inclusion of music by composer Keegan DeWitt.

Combine is made with support from the Performance Studio, London.
