To celebrate his double album release after 19 years of silence, Monday 28th May we broadcast extracts from Yaghmaie's writing with tracks from the new album. Repeats Sunday 3rd June 20.30

• Persian Poetry Tour - June 4th

Passionate and emotional poetry readings from the Persian Poet's Tour, in collaboration with The Poetry Translation Centre. Recorded at the Mosaic rooms West London in May 2012, the poems are read in Persian and then English. Repeats followng Sunday.

The mule, donkey have long-been a staple part of Middle Eastern and North African daily life. Interviews from the Donkey Conference held at London's School of Oriental and African Studies on International Donkey Day, where anything from the nutritional qualities of donkey milk to donkeys in Turkish folksong and dance.
