Congratulations to our winner of the Googoosh concert - Kamran Irandoost and a friend are going to see the Persian diva at her one night only (and already sold out) concert at Wembley Arena on March 21st!
In the meantime I'm a guest on BBC R3's Night Waves tomorrow night, sometime after 9pm if you fancy tuning in.
We've been busy organising an event for Index on Censorship, this Friday. If you are Farringdon please come down for 6.30pm, for an early evening of entertainment and speech.
They will be launching a campaign for free speech for Iranian journalists, "Our Society Will be a Free Society, fronted by the celebrated journalist Maziar Bahari.
I was very happy to see the poster I made up on trees around University of London Union last night, while celebrating the festival of 4 Shanbe Soori, (Red Wednesday) - when Iranians traditionally leap over a fire to mark the forthcoming start of a new year, which is itself on Spring Equinox (March 21st).
Pictured here is the illegal fire we made, with someone 'cleansing' themselves by leaping across the flames.
